Lorenia Alvarenga has survived domestic abuse, as well as sexual and financial exploitation, and human trafficking. She draws from her personal experiences and professional training in social care, gained through e-learning and CPD certifications within the UK public sector. During her time as an NHS employee, Lorenia learned to navigate the system to assist survivors. As a self-employed professional, she worked alongside councils, courts, police, and immigration services to support vulnerable individuals. She also serves as a member of the Lambeth Independent Advisory Group (IAG), contributing her experience and insight to support the local community. Through SDK Ministries, she has helped many families and survivors break free from harm and abuse. The ministry’s dedication to community and social work was recognized with two social project awards in 2022: First Place at Guia Londres and Fourth Place at Top of Minds International.
Lorenia is a prophetic minister who has studied under some of the world’s leading ministers. She is a highly sought-after speaker across public sectors, government institutions, churches, and business environments, guiding individuals in discovering their destiny and purpose in Christ.
As a public speaker, Lorenia has spoken at large church conferences and services. She dedicated over three years as a volunteer minister and interpreter at a London detention center, where she shared her testimony, skills, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In 2022, Lorenia led a significant church social project involving 60 volunteers, training more than 17 of them to assist survivors and their families. She has also prepared and equipped many leaders for evangelism in London, Great Britain, Turkey, Romania, and Brazil.
