This is the story of Lorenia, a young woman who, after receiving a promise from the Lord, decided to migrate to the United Kingdom and found herself thrown among the lions. A survivor of domestic abuse, sexual exploitation and human trafficking, Lorenia fought for survival even though she was vulnerable and alone, finding redemption at the feet of Jesus Christ.
Lorenia Alvarenga is an author, survivor, director- founder of Sons and Daughter’s of the King a faith based charity and a speaker whose testimony has moved audiences across the UK, including the Metropolitan Police.

Lorenia continues to use her story to ignite change, heal hearts, and speak truth where silence once reigned. She also serves as a member of the Lambeth Independent Advisory Group (IAG), contributing her experience and insight to support the local community.
